In the face of adversity, Cherish
has risen to the challenge by explemplifying versatility in the Poodle
breed. Since being diagnosed with canine Addison's disease at the age
of 3 years (2002), Cherish has continued to participate and earn titles
in a variety of disciplines.
- CDX title was completed in 2003
- PCC
Versatility Award for Versatile Poodle in 2004
- Earned her WC title in 2006 and received
a numbered duck band from the Poodle Club of
Canada in appreciation of our efforts in maintaining the Poodle's
historical purpose as a waterfowl and hunting dog
- VATChC in 2006 and Bronze Award of Merit
in 2007
- AGI in 2007
- OTCh completed in 2008
- 3 perfect 200 scores in Rally-O at 10
years of age
Cherish
continues to participate in recreational and competitive sports with
us. She might spend a morning in the cold and snow retrieving ducks,
the afternoon indoors practicing her freestyle routine, and the evening
curled up on the couch with Papa. Its a dog's life. What a life.
