We are thankful that so many competitors come out each month to support CARO Rally-Obedience trials at The Poodle Farm. Some are newcomers to the sport looking for their first leg in Novice A, some are veterans competing for Q's in C stream. The thing you all share is the knowledge that much work and dedication is required to achieve the goal of a perfect 200 score. In looking for ways to reward that commitment to the sport, we have decided to offer a prize for perfection.

- The Grand Prize:
- ~ Four (4) VIP Passes (approx. value $25 each) valid at The Poodle Farm in 2013, each pass consisting of:
- ~ One CARO run entry in any class,
- ~ VIP Parking on the event day,
- ~ Free 'welcome' coffee on arrival,
- ~ Free lunch including drink.
- and
- ~ a prepaid $100 Esso gas card valid at participating locations.
How to
Qualify:
At any CARO Rally-Obedience
Trial held at The Poodle Farm
in 2012, receive a valid score of 200 in any run, in any class
(including C stream). For each score of 200, your
name will be entered in the Grand Prize Draw. At the end of the 2012
season, a random draw will be made from the qualified entrants, and the
Grand Prize will be awarded to the Winner.
The more times you score 200, the more times your name goes 'in the hat' for the draw. But even one gets you a chance to win.
Draw Qualifiers - as of 27 March
- Lindsay and Gracie, Advanced A, T12-019
- Dorcas and Nixxi, Versatility, T12-019
- Karen O. and Asia, Novice B, T12-020
- Sue and Janyse, Advanced B, T12-020
- Kathleen and Flame, Advanced C, T12-020
- The fine print:
- ~ The Grand Prize must be taken as awarded, no cash surrender value. VIP Passes must be used by the Grand Prize Winner, or immediate family member, and are otherwise non-transferable. Only one VIP pass may be redeemed per trial, and they are only valid at CARO trials held at The Poodle Farm.
- ~ In the case of a 200 score in a Team event, both Team members will have their names entered in the draw.
- ~ FEO runs are not eligible for entry in the draw.
- ~ Results for each trial, and the names of each 200 Draw Qualifier, will be published after each event. Competitors are responsible for confirming the accuracy of the list. Errors or omissions must be e-mailed to Debby within 30 days after the posting of results. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of qualifying scores achieved.
- ~ The Grand Prize Draw will take place December 31, 2012 at The Poodle Farm and the Winner will be notified at the e-mail address on record. The Winner's name (and any picture we might have) will be published on our website in January, 2013.
- ~ Prize must be claimed in person by the Winner before the end of our last CARO event in 2013, or it will be deemed to have expired.
- ~ Neither CARO nor Esso have endorsed or participated in this contest in any way, and are not responsible in any way for the conduct of the contest. Contest is open to all CARO members.
- ~ There is no measurable cost to qualify for the draw. Scores of 200 are "Priceless".
